ReadiForce Government Solutions, LLC. is currently looking for Phlebotomists for potential opportunities to provide services at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Ft. Bliss, TX. These are full-time positions, 8 or 12 hours a day. Monday – Sunday between the hours of 6:00 am – 6:00 pm. The Phlebotomists will support the Armed Services Blood Program and the Army Blood Program mission to collect, process, test and provide quality blood products from volunteer donors and to coordinate the distribution of blood products to military treatment facilities worldwide in order to provide life-saving blood products to injured service members, veterans and their family members.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree: Certificate.
  • Education: high school equivalent and completion of a donor Phlebotomy program accredited by The Joint Commission or CAP.
  • Certification: Certification/registration as a Phlebotomy Technician, Donor Phlebotomy Technician or equivalent by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, American Medical Technologists or other agency approved by the Assistant Secretary Defense (Health Affairs), ASD(HA), and current BLS certified by the American Heart Association.
  • Experience: Must have performed 50 successful donor collections with an accredited laboratory with in last two years.

Core Duties

  • The primary purpose of this position is to interact with donors to collect blood products.
  • Performs a variety of duties on a rotating basis in various sections to include phlebotomy, registration, vitals, donor interview, initial blood product processing, and donor recovery. Interacts with donors and staff in a tactful, professional and courteous manner.
  • Performs routine and complicated venipuncture
  • Instructs and monitors various phlebotomy personnel or students on rotation in phlebotomy techniques.
  • Participate in blood drives within a geographical area from the primary location.
