- 1ST Shift: M-F 6:15AM-4:15PM $14 hourly
- 2ND Shift: M-F 2:45PM-12:45AM $14 hourly
Major responsibilities are as follows:
The Palletizer operates a suction system to place boxes of finished goods onto pallets as is consistent with customers’ specifications.
- Unload packed boxes of product from the conveyor to a pallet.
- Use a suction system to lift and transfer boxes of product from the conveyor to a pallet.
- Arrange boxes according to specified pallet configuration.
- Assist and fill in for employees on the packaging line as needed.
- Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues.
- Follow SOP’s, GMP’s safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct.
- Report food safety problems.
- Participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- This is an entry level position.
- Some packing or picking experience is preferred.
- Prior palletizing experience is helpful. Ability to lift-up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to read English and follow pallet configurations.
- No diploma is required.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
