Job Description:

Eisen's R&D group in Lansing, Michigan develops new state-of-the-art products and technologies. If you are interested in this type of environment, then Eisen has just the job for you. We are accepting applications from entry level and experienced professionals with interest in operations.

Operations skills and responsibilities:

  • Customer service
  • Sending and receiving of product shipments
  • Assist with prototyping
  • Facility maintenance and upkeep to 5S standard

You will be involved in shop floor operations including: taking and organizing stock, scheduling, inspecting and packing materials, completing and organizing all related paperwork. This should constitute 25% of your time once you become familiar with the systems. Upon mastering these responsibilities, you will have the chance to support in-house engineering and supply chain projects. Given the varied nature of this work, people with a diverse background and aptitude are encouraged to apply. Previous office based work is a bonus as is logistics and engineering specifically with hobby robotics or electronics.

Required:

  • Work 100% on-site in Lansing, Michigan
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds repeatedly
  • Reference check
  • Two or more of the technical skills listed above.

Shifts available Monday through Friday in these slots: 10-4 or Full time

Hours available: ~25/week or Full time

Pay scale: $30,000/year depending on experience
