OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT

ATI is a global manufacturer of technically advanced specialty materials and complex components. Our products support diverse markets and industries such as aerospace and defense, oil & gas, electrical energy, medical, automotive, and other industrial markets.

We are currently seeking an Operations Superintendent for our Vandergrift, PA facility. This position reports to the plant manager. This position works with operations supervisors, production planners, quality managers, product metallurgists and maintenance management on a daily basis. Routine interaction occurs with vendors and contract personnel.

Position responsibilities include:

• Directing, managing, and coordinating all operating responsibilities for the rolling and slitting assets with responsibility for safety, environmental, quality and productivity in a 24 x 7 operating environment.
• Driving improvements of all OEE metrics for the operations.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability with direct involvement all maintenance and PC&A activities.
• Ensuring contract and personnel issues are handled uniformly throughout the department and working with local USWA representatives to resolve grievances within the organization.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an operating manager/supervisor in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to summarize and present clear and concise reports
• Strong analytical skills

Base Salary - $85,000 to $120,000
