Assistant Shipping Coordinator

Part time shifts available Monday through Friday in these slots: 10-4 or Full time

Assistant Shipping Coordinator skills and responsibilities:

• Manage packaging and shipments
• Facility maintenance and upkeep to 5S standard
• Assist with prototyping and fabrication

You will be involved in shop floor operations on daily basis. This should constitute 50% of your time once you become familiar with the systems. Upon mastering these responsibilities, you will have the chance to support engineering projects. Given the varied nature of this work, people with a technical background are encouraged to apply. Previous similar work experience is a bonus as is logistics and fabrication.

To qualify, you will need a strong work ethic, and desire for personal development. A proven track record exhibiting attention to detail and solid commitment to delivering the very best quality of work in tight deadlines is a must. Required:

• Work 100% on-site in Lansing, Michigan
• Must be able to reach, extend, lift and move 40 pounds without assistance
• Reference check
• Woodworking, fabrication, or maintenance background a plus
