Job Description:

Extremely busy Outpatient Drug Treatment clinic is looking for an office assistant to work in our billing department. This is a full-time job.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date insurance information
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Provide support to other staff
  • Investigate errors in billing
  • Effectively communicate with other staff/counselors, patients and insurance companies (including Medicaid)
  • Collect payments from patients and maintain transportation funds

    Qualifications:
  • Minimum HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel/Word
  • Knowledge of Medicaid system and insurance terminology
  • Good phone manners
  • Detail oriented
  • Reliable.
