Network Specialist II - Asset Management

3-6 month contract

Job Description:

• Surplus operations and asset management duties
• Working surplus tickets in ServiceNow
• Working with customers to schedule pick up of equipment
• Processing surplus and updating inventory once surplus is received
• Working surplus tickets with General Services

This position is a lower level position similar to the workstation area but will be doing some additional inventory and working tickets plus surplus of equipment

Work to process endpoint surplus that has been picked up in the surrounding Middle TN areas.  This would require physically handling equipment, documenting the contents of equipment, assisting in media sanitization, etc.

Assist team members in working to collect and transport surplus equipment once per week.

Assist in completing asset inventories contained within our data centers, outside of our data centers, etc.

Possibly assist in completing data governance duties (updating assets in our inventory tracking systems)

As needed, assist in receiving new acquisitions that are delivered to our data center (documenting the contents of order).
