Salary Range: $120.00 - $125.00 per hour
Part Time Position: About 5-10 hours/week
Pay Rate: $125/hr.
Hybrid: This position requires flexibility and the ability to work on site - *some remote work, but mainly on site*
Summary of Job: The Medical Director is responsible for the oversight and provisions of psychiatric evaluations and follow-ups, medication and medical management and leadership for the treatment team. The Medical Director is also responsible for performance improvement activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provides overall clinical leadership and supervision of all medical/clinical aspects of service delivery.
•Ensures initial psychiatric assessment is completed and provides direct psychiatric services.
•Assures that all enrolled service individuals receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical/psychiatric evaluation, whenever indicated.
•Communicates complaints and incidents to supervisory personnel as needed.
•Develops differential diagnostic assessments and obtains consent to treatment.
•Prescribes and administers medication.
•Ensures that risk assessments, education, progress towards treatment goals, including medical, psychological, social behavioral (biopsychosocial input) and developmental aspects of the individual’s situation are documented by medical providers.
•Consults with primary healthcare providers on the clinical aspects of the individuals being served and the implications for those individual’s physical healthcare needs.
•Initiates and/or ensures appropriate response to all medical emergencies.
•Completes clinical documentation as required.
•Understands and adheres to Company compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
•Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Company policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
•Performs other related duties assigned.

•Valid and current state-specific Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration required.
•Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine with a specialty in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine.
•Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the delivery of behavioral health treatment.
•Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience or other form of professional leadership.
