Hollis Cobb Associates, Inc. is a fast- growing, national based medical receivables management company seeking individuals with strong organizational skills, and proven background working in a high paced environment to join our team.

We are currently seeking Medical Insurance Customer Service Representatives.Looking for individuals with healthcare call center background or medical revenue cycle experience. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated; goal oriented and will possess superior communication skills.The Representative will be located at Hospital in Decatur for the first 90 days and will then be transferred permanently to a Hospital in Downtown Atlanta.

Position Requirements:

  • Candidate must be able to read and interpret an EOB.
  • Performs clerical and customer service functions required to service the needs of the patients, providers and organization.
  • Maintains a high volume of inbound calls researching and responding to billing questions and inquires.
  • Negotiates payment on patient account balances.
  • Communicates hospital financial policies to patients and identifies patients who need financial help.
  • Must have problem solving skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have the flexibility to work two evening shifts until 7 p.m. and no weekends.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of medical insurance experience
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other contract payers (HMO, PPO) preferred.
  • CPAR (Certified Patient Account Representative) and/or CFC (Certified Patient Financial Counselor) preferred.
  • Typing skills with a minimum of 40-45 wpm
