Job Description:

Our client is a leading systems integration company specializing in content management solutions, content digitization, and library services/solutions, has an open position for a Marketing Analyst.

Overview: We are currently seeking Marketing Analyst to handle a diverse set of responsibilities and tasks within the sales and marketing function. The ideal person will possess basic sales and marketing skills and a desire to learn more. The ideal candidate will have computer experience which will enable them to quickly understand our software and related applications well enough to present solutions to customers. This position provides a sales professional with an excellent opportunity for career growth.  

The main duties will include:   

  •  Manage website and collateral activities (15%)   
    • Write, enhance and maintain ready stock of collateral  
    • Maintain website and pages so links work, message is always current and news is fresh  
    • Create case studies, white papers and citations, infographics   
  • Manage all tradeshow activities (15%)   
    • Schedule tradeshows, arrange for logistics, book travel for attendees and personally attend. Work one on one with customers to explain company’s products and services and demo Knowvation Opens in New Window .  
    • Assist with tradeshow booth face lifts   
  • Manage social media activities (45%):    
    • Manage Facebook, twitter, Instagram, blogs, LinkedIn  
    • Develop and maintain metrics to measure progress   
  • Sales support activities (20%)   
    • Assist with GSA and other government submission processes  
    • Complete registrations with government and partner organizations.  
    • Prepare responses for RFI’s and Sources Sought  
    • Attend industry related networking sessions   
    • Write and publish monthly newsletter  
    • Support proposal development   
  • Company presentations and demonstrations (5%)   
    • Learn company presentation and software application (Knowvation) demonstration and present to customers and resellers via Webex.    

Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree at a four-year accredited college or university, 3+ years experience in a sales support or marketing role, strong experience leveraging social meeting in a marketing role.   

Required: Excellent verbal and writing skills. Office automation software: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, InDesign, Photoshop and graphics development
experience is important. Other: Position also requires travel for tradeshows approximately four times per year.
