Duties and Responsibilities :
- Establish and evolve formal QA processes (Test Plan, Test Strategy), ensuring that the team is using industry accepted best practices in the project.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met in the project.
- Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally in the project.
- Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers in the project.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated) in the project.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
- Understanding of Quality Assurance tools, practices and success measures.
- Ability to work both independently as well as in team settings within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in advanced level testing techniques.
- Experience leading QA efforts on agile development teams.
- Experience in eCommerce testing.

We are looking for a QA Lead who is a proven software tester and who has a solid understanding of Methodologies and QA processes. The QA Tester Lead is responsible and accountable for leading and mentoring off-shore teams and communicates project status to the client and project manager. The QA Lead should be able to help define and distribute daily tasks to our QA team and is therefore held more accountable for the quality of our work.
