Perform duties to insure best possible performance of machinery and equipment and general building maintenance.
JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Install, maintain, repair or rebuild a wide variety of large and complicated machine tools, and plant equipment.
2. Diagnose problems, disassemble and determine extent of repairs necessary.
3. Repair, refit or replace parts.
4. Select material necessary including stocking material in shop.
5. Perform regular scheduled oiling and greasing on all equipment.
6. Assemble and test adjustments on equipment
7. Perform building maintenance
8. Assist in the inventory process, counting and verifying current stock.
9. Disassemble and overhaul engines, transmissions. Evaluate request from operators on validity of malfunctions of equipment
10. Follow Safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Welding equipment, lath, Mill, drill press, press, voltage meter, caliper lift truck, upright, hand tools Read Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Electrical Schematics. Must be able to lift 60lbs.
