Job Description: Maintenance Assistant
Port Fourchon, LA
Note: Only candidates with the legal right to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered for this role.
Compensation: $14 – $18/hr - DOE
Location: Port Fourchon, LA
Local candidates preferred; housing/meals provided during hitch. Must have TWIC Certification.
Schedule: 14X14 (12 – 16 hour days)

Requirements:
· Oilfield experience preferred, but not mandatory. For non-oilfield experience, candidate should have construction, roofing or landscaping. Experience in tubular services, inspection machine shop, forklift operations and rigging are required.
· Computer literacy and ability to communicate clearly, in both written and verbal English, with superiors and engineers.
Job Summary: Assist with performing various tasks to include but not limited to cleaning, driving forklift, manual labor, using measurement tools, using NDT tools, using power tools, assisting with all tasks as needed. Train to become certified operators, machinists, inspectors, and/or welders. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months forklift experience (moving oilfield tubulars/long iron with pipe handler/clamp experience preferred) and/or rigging and be certified in rigging.

Salary: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour
