Logistics clerk duties:
- Submit truck requests for pick up of shipments from various manufacturers / warehouses. •
- Monitor of shipments in transit - with confirmation of completion of shipment to delivery location •
- Process of requests for delivery documentation, management of changes needed to documentation through communication with site shipping departments if discrepancies arise •
- Communicate changes to scheduled pickup / delivery appointments
- Maintain repository of transportation and shipment information including: product type, quantity, pickup/delivery location, pickup/delivery dates
