Real Estate In – House Private Lending Loan Originator (Tremendous advancement opportunity to move up quickly)

Real Estate - Residential and Commercial Investment and Development company conglomerate that has been in business for over 40 + years is seeking a talented, hard-working loan professional  to join one  of its private lending subsidiaries.

The opportunity provides tremendous potential for advancement for a candidate that is relatively early in their career. A move to a market that management shall decide on will be required in about a years’ time or less. The markets being considered are the Tampa Florida area, the Nashville Tennessee area, Charlotte North Carolina, and parts of Texas. This could change, but management foresees the initial new market being in the southeast.

5 years of work experience in homebuilder lending or similar is preferred. We value individuals that are hard-working, fast learning, diligent, reliable, proactive, and that above all take ownership of duties and tasks assigned and that they assign to subordinates. A good attitude and ability to get along well with co-workers is essential.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Train under and help with the responsibilities of the Manager of the subsidiary. And to eventually oversee and take ownership of all aspects of hard money loan origination in a new market.  

•   Market the company and promote the companies brand.  This person will be trained in the lending subsidiaries approach of originating private / hard money loans and providing analysis as to the merits of borrowers and loans including full underwriting of deals.   Training will be provided, but candidates are expected to possess strong quantitative analysis skills and qualitative analysis skills.  Loan processing, servicing, and collections will be handled through the Atlanta headquarters.

• Candidate must be familiar with the Atlanta metro area and the investment real estate market.  This person will interact with lead sources (i.e. realtors, closing attorneys) and most importantly appraisers and will be involved with local real estate investing organizations. 

• Social media skills are a requirement.  Position will initially be based in Atlanta but will eventually lead to marketing and originating loans in other markets.  Travel and eventual relocation will be required. Pay will be fixed at first and then a variable bonus component will be introduced in conjunction with the move to a new market that could be worth up to double the fixed portion of the compensation.

• Candidate must be a self-starter and work without direct supervision most of the time.   Must have strong interpersonal skills and the sales ability to drum up business for the company while also holding the line on underwriting criteria and other processes that Management shall set from time to time.   Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.  This person must keep abreast of competition and local trends.

Finance experience is preferred. Real Estate Investment Analysis and lending experience is required. College Degree from an accredited 4 year institution is required. Finance degree or Real Estate Degree is preferred.    Inquiries please email: sfdtickets@gmail.com
