Licensed Customer Service Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:  

 We are looking for an experienced licensed insurance customer service representative to connect with our insurance customers. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customer questions, dealing with complaints, and providing potential customers with detailed information about our products. You may also be required to review a customer’s policy and direct calls to sales agents when a policy needs to be initiated or upgraded.

Ultimately, a top-class insurance customer sales representative is friendly and efficient when handling complaints or providing policy information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

•  Familiarize yourself with our range of products, services, and systems. 
• Provide customers with detailed information about policies and products, and recommendations. 
• Answer calls and respond to customer complaints. 
• Gather the information and risk management recommendations renewal of designated accounts and assist Producer(s) as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

•  Current and Valid P&C Insurance License. 
• Previous experience working as a customer service representative. 
• In-depth knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules. 
• Friendly and professional demeanor. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of database software is preferred. 
• High-level typing skills. 
• Advanced knowledge of telephone and call forwarding systems. 
• Ability to clearly explain detailed policy concepts.
