The Level III Court Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the municipal court facility in Allen, Texas. This individual plays a vital role in ensuring the protection of judges, court personnel, witnesses, and the public.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Security Management: Provide vigilant security monitoring, ensuring the safety of all court participants.
- Access Control: Manage entry points, monitor security screenings, and control access within the court facility.
- Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols within the court premises and nearby areas, identifying and reporting suspicious activities.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances within the court area, taking appropriate actions in accordance with law and policy.
- Customer Service: Assist visitors by providing directions and information courteously.
- Security Protocols Compliance: Enforce court security policies and procedures, including regulations related to weapons and contraband.
- Incident Reporting: Maintain detailed records and report any security-related incidents or breaches.
- Collaboration: Work closely with law enforcement agencies, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in District Court Bailiff, Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and legal regulations.
- Must have a valid Level 3 security license with the state of Texas
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License
- Must have their own personal Level 3 equipment including a firearm, duty belt, holster, etc.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
