Friday Services is hiring for an in-house Recruiter. In this role, you will positively impact/change peoples’ lives each and every day by matching applicants with a job they are passionate about, with businesses that need their talents. Friday Services’ Recruiters excel in the art of finding the right match for both clients and candidates. Monthly participate with the Friday team as we show how much we care about our community through our volunteer experiences and give back where we work and live.

Recruiter Primary Duties:

• Actively sources and recruits candidates using effective screening methods
• Use effective interviewing techniques to evaluate candidates
• Review job orders with clients to establish hiring goals and placement specifics and ensures the job orders are filled on time
• Prepare job offers, engage with candidates, manage the onboarding process, including background checking, drug screening, orientations, safety training, first-day instructions etc.
• Regular communication with both the client and employee to ensure positive relationships are maintained
• Provide coaching and counseling feedback to employees as needed
• Work with client to understand business cycles to predict business needs and trends
• Ensure compliance with both FSS standards and client standards for reporting

Recruiter Requirements:

• Computer skills including MS Office suite and ability to become proficient FSS programs, databases & applications
• Exceptional tact with strong oral & written communication skills
• Ability to engage, coach, advise, and work with all types of people
• Ability to deliver results in a production-based environment – experience in staffing, recruiting, HR or related field with transferrable skills is preferred
• Flexible and adaptable to daily changes
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Honest, ethical, and acts with integrity

Recruiter Education Requirements:

• Associates degree or higher

Preferred experience includes:

• 2+ years in recruiting or staffing related role
• Demonstrated interviewing experience
• Knowledge of employment-related laws
• CSP Certification or ability to attain certification within 6 months of hire
• Ability to be conversational in Spanish
