You are:
An approachable person who will oversee production workers on designated lines and assures accurate and timely processing of mail runs. You are a performance driver, which can help the company meet their mailing productivity standards.

You will:
• Oversee the production workers on designated lines and assures accurate and timely processing of packages and ensure IATA Dangerous Goods processes and procedures are followed at all times.
• Under direction from the Supervisor, assure the accurate and timely processing of the packages to meet shipping timeframes.
• Follow-up to assure processing proceeds at the pace needed to meet hourly and daily productivity goals.
• Oversee the IATA Dangerous Goods and Customs process in assigned area.
• Crosstrain in all areas to become subject matter expert to work assigned areas as needed
• Use internet and web browsers, data entry, scales, and dimensional equipment to process parcels accurately and efficiently.
• Assist the Supervisor with responsibilities that may include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
Your background:

As a Lead Associate you have:
• A minimum of 1 year experience working in a solid traffic management environment and supervisory experience in the warehousing/shipping where familiarity of parcel processing is utilized.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Exposure to, and/or an understanding of; 49CFR HazMat awareness, DOT and TSA regulations.
