Job Description:

BPA Services, LLC. is looking for a Junior Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful deployment of our software products. Successful candidates should have strong communication, written and critical thinking skills as well as a desire to learn and work as part of a team. The Business Analyst will work closely with project management, clients, and the development team to support the development and delivery of a software application.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, analysis and coordination on actions and issues identified by the client
  •  Develop test plans and schedule for user acceptance testing ·         
  •  Perform system demonstrations to large audience and clients ·         
  •  Lead daily scrum and facilitate JAD sessions ·        
  • Develop and deliver training on the system application  
  •  Provide help desk support to clients as needed and report on     
  • Provide technical editing support in developing, reviewing, editing correspondence, reports, orders, SOPs, directives, investigations, audits, and other guidance documentation
  • Assist in preparing briefings, brochures and special presentations; design customized or special graphics, reports, charts, and media to enhance communication effectiveness and mission support
  • Schedule and coordinate a variety of client meetings with large audiences
  • Produce meeting materials in preparation for the meetings and attend and document meeting minutes
  • Perform quality assurance testing of the software tool and provide findings and recommendations to the system developers
  • Assist in maintaining and updating existing Knowledge Sharing Network (KSN) sites, including design and content, utilizing FAA standard design tools including but not limited to SharePoint

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 year of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer information systems, or other relevant major
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  •  Basic knowledge in the software development lifecycle     

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in eliciting requirements and testing (not required, but preferred)
  • Experience with JIRA (not required, but preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
BPAS office is remote and will remain so until there is a widely available vaccine.
