The Picky Painters is now seeking full-time, long-term employees to become part of our team. 

Here is an outline of our Company Positions and Pay 

• Apprentice/Trainee - $14.00 - 15.00 per hour + bonuses

• Painter - $16.00 - $17.00 per hour + bonuses

• Lead Painter - $18.00 - $19.00 per hour + bonuses 

• Crew Lead Painter/Job manager - $20.00 - $22.00 per hour + bonuses

Training Provided (this position requires exp.): 

You will be trained in Cabinet Refinishing, Interior and Exterior Residential Painting and Staining, Deck Staining, Drywall Surface Repair, Wallpaper Removal, and Pressure Washing.

Requirements:

1. You must have your OWN reliable automobile and your own valid driver's license.  You will not be considered for employment unless you have both.

2. Pass a national criminal background check prior to employment. 

3. You will be expected to work up to 40 hours a week and occasionally on Saturdays during our busy season if we get rainouts. Otherwise, Saturdays are optional. Overtime is sometimes required to get jobs done but we don’t want to be at customers’ homes past 5 pm normally.

4. We work on smoke, chew, and vape-free job sites except as designated in this policy.

Smoking is prohibited in all of the enclosed areas within The Picky Painters work sites, without exception. This includes customer's homes, job sites, garages, employer-owned or leased vehicles, and all other enclosed facilities.  The only designated smoking area is outdoors 15 feet away from any structures. Additionally, employees may smoke in their personal vehicles, but the smoke and tobacco products must be completely contained within the vehicle. 

5. Physical demands are climbing high ladders, reaching, twisting, bending, squatting, walking, pulling, pushing, grasping, lifting full 5-gallon buckets of paint, standing, and being on your knees back and forth throughout the duration of the shift. Must be able to follow verbal orders and hustle all day long. You will be working in 90-degree weather in the summer.

Qualifications:

Must be team-oriented, a nice person, not a complainer, able to receive instruction and constructive criticism. We will expect you to treat our customers like royalty and respect your fellow employees at all times. We expect honesty at all times and to own up to any mistakes and correct them.
