Java Microservices Developer

We are looking for a highly technical, Java/Microservices Developer to help us develop our next generation of digital experience. The candidate should be a strong developer who is agile enough to take on any project, regardless of platform or framework. The developer should have strong interest to learn new technology and is abreast of the latest trends in the market. The developer will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to build the next generation of our digital experience. We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on coder who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The engineer not only understands coding and hacking but also has a strong sense of architecture, deployment and operational skill.

 

Required skills/competencies:

• Strong experience building cloud native microservices using spring boot framework/Lagom to run on PaaS technologies such as Mesos and containers.

• Experience with Kafka, streaming.

• Experience in multithreading and data structures.

• Experience with JSON, XML.

• Experience with RESTful Service APIs.

• Experience with NoSQL such as Cassandra, Couchbase, Realm.

• Experience with Relational databases such as Sql server, MySql

• Experience working on Agile projects

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Scala
