Pay Range: $105,743 - $137,464

Location: Groton, CT
Duties:
- You will serve as the subject matter expert on network operating systems, command-wide architecture development, planning and implementation and maintenance of the network operating system.
- You will coordinate the efforts of the command-wide network system to ensure one enterprise-wide network and all e-mail configurations are implemented.
- Develop doctrine, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) for Undersea Warfare (USW).
- You will serve as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) establishing and managing the UWDC Information Systems (IS)/Information Assurance (IA) program from requirement identification through operations sustainment.
- You will draft and/or develop operational policies, procedures, and criteria for interfacing with program systems resources, and coordinate with other major staffs on the development of information security systems.
Condition of Employment:
- Able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 521 level 2-Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

This document defines "Undersea Warfare" (USW) as any capability (or function that enables a particular capability) to produce these effects. The USW mission encompasses all relevant maritime regimes (e.g. space and Arctic operations) and brings with it the necessity to provide breadth and depth across multiple commands and the entire Doctrine, Operations, Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) spectrum.
