We are seeking a Consultant to join our team. Our client is seeking assistance in developing a robust IT infrastructure that includes an organizational network with the capacity to link users and data for seamless file sharing and data storage. The infrastructure must also support cloud integration services to ensure secure and reliable access from any location.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field AND;
- 5 or more years of relevant network engineering/design experience
- 3 or more years of cloud experience
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain an IT infrastructure. Responsible for the complete project lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and ongoing support.
Network Design and Implementation
- Develop a secure, scalable, and reliable organizational network based on the needs of the organizations involved.
- Ensure the network can link users across multiple locations, allowing for seamless file sharing and data storage.
- Design the network to accommodate growth in users, devices, and data.
Integrations
- Ability to integrate with current and future systems and software and to consolidate web based subscriptions/ platforms and management under one entity: website management, GoDaddy - domain/email name rights, Microsoft Office, Donor database platforms - little green light, network for good, PayPal, Stripe etc.
- Develop or integrate a system to allow for multiple event/ ticketing/ sales options for multiple site locations with multiple levels of user access. System to support the ability to pay out proceeds to those sites directly.
- Interface integrations with data import/ export reporting abilities.
Data Storage Solutions
- Implement a data storage system that allows for efficient and secure file sharing.
- Ensure redundancy and backup solutions to protect against data loss.
- Provide solutions for data encryption and compliance with relevant regulations.
Cloud Integration Services
- Integrate cloud services to support remote access from any location.
- Ensure the cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards.
- Implement hybrid cloud solutions where necessary to balance on-premises and cloud storage.
Security and Compliance
- Implement robust security measures to protect data and network integrity.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
- Provide solutions for user authentication, access control, and monitoring.
Ongoing Support and Maintenance
- Provide ongoing support for the IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Offer training for Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor Commission’s staff on the use of the new system.
- Provide a service-level agreement (SLA) outlining response times, uptime guarantees, and other support details.
