Talgo Inc is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join the team in Seattle, WA
 

*Shift: 3rd shift, overnight*
 

SUMMARY
 

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the efficient operation of the warehouse accordance with the Company’s processes and ISO 9000 standards by performing the following duties.
 

Inventory Control Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 100% inventory accuracy by keeping track of all inventory received, issued, transferred and shipped. All data entry to be done a using on-line inventory management system and document center.
  • Processes all inventory transactions in a timely manner according to Talgo policies and procedures.
  • Create purchasing requisitions based on reorder points for inventory items.
  • Performs cycle counts of all inventory items.
  • Ensure the warehouse and inventory control areas are kept clean and organized. All inventory will be kept in its proper location and clearly labeled.
  • Verifies accuracy of shipments received against packing list and purchase order.
  • Resolves discrepancies or disputes concerning inventoried items, materials, parts, components and tools.
  • Shares the responsibility of inventory control with peer Inventory Control Specialist and Lead in seven day/week coverage of the warehouse. All Inventory, Tools, Equipment and Consumables will be accounted for.
  • Maintains a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA, Talgo’s, and AMTRAK standards at all times.
  • Enforces all applicable FRA, OSHA, FDA and other agency rules, regulations, laws and standards.

Inventory Control Specialist Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 6 months of Material/Inventory Control, Warehouse, Forklift, Shipping/Receiving or any other Supply Chain Duties
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • Must be self-directed
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check including MVR records
