Integrated Science Teacher in Career and Technical Education

Full-time,10 months

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified in Living Environment, Earth Science, Chemistry or Physics or eligible to receive New York State teacher certification.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Plans and provides for appropriate Science experiences in support of Career and Technical Educational students aligned with NYS Learning Standards. Responsible for co-planning and co-teaching with CTE instructors to deliver commencement level curriculum throughout each of the programs. Successful candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, ability to develop positive student/teacher relationships, and utilize creative and flexible instructional practices.

SALARY/BENEFITS:

Starting salary $52,991 - $79,266 per year. Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
