Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Seamstress

See Us Now Staffing is highly seeking candidates for the position of Sewing Machine Operator/Industrial Seamstress.

An ideal candidate for this position is skilled and experienced with any of the following single needle, double needle and over lock industrial sewing machines. Independent work ethic is key as well as maintaining exceptional quality while working in a fast-paced environment.
 

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing equipment and perform alterations & repairs on a wide variety material.
• Perform sewing activities in a production environment.
• Inspect work to detect faults or defects in stitching, identify and correct issues.
• Ensure finished product conforms to required quality standards.
• Be dependable and able to work 5 day 40 hour work week.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years industrial sewing experience.
• Experience in a production environment a plus.
• Industrial sewing experience preferred on Single Needle and Overlock machines
• Organizational & problem-solving skills.
• Ability to do simple measurements.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is desirable but not required.
