COMC has exciting immediate opportunities for Identification Team Members to join our team in Redmond, WA or Auburn, WA! The Identification Team Member will help accurately sort, identify, and list Sports, Non-Sports, and Gaming cards.

Ideal candidates will be passionate about collectible cards and have exceptional attention to detail.

Shifts Available:
Flexible Full-time and Part-time positions between 6 am and 9 pm.

SUMMARY

Accurately sort, identify, catalog, and list consigned Sports, Non-Sports, and Gaming cards, as well as comics; assists as directed in shipping and processing tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

Record Duties

  • Identify unlicensed, unsupported, counterfeit, altered, or suspicious inventory.
  • Identify the catalog information for many thousands of trading cards each week.
  • Correct or update database information where appropriate.
  • Ensure accuracy in all levels of inventory management to provide correct inventory counts and valuations.
  • Report errors and missing inventory to lead.
  • Maintain inventory with care.
  • Assist leads and managers in all organization projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of collectible cards is preferable.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent attention to detail.
Working knowledge of sports, non-sports, and gaming cards.
Accuracy in all processing functions.
Excellent customer service skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Moderate familiarity with Windows-based computer system required; ability to use 10-key for data entry.

The position requires the ability to work with fingers to pick, pinch, and carry out substantial movements of the wrist and hands to perform tasks of delicate manual dexterity, handling small, fragile inventory with high precision and care. The position requires the ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up-to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects.

Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The ability to compare small details between two images for accuracy. The ability to view a computer monitor for extended periods.
