Title - Hyperion - Architect

Position Summary 

The incumbent will provide engg and architectural oversight and support to the implementation and operations teams in Agile environment. will be accountable for design and operations of Applications (Oracle Enterprise Performance Management), and infrastructure comprising of large highly available virtualization environment (hardware and software), will also be accountable for designing, maintaining, and supporting existing and future applications and IT infrastructure in the areas of systems, network, storage, security, virtual technology and the Cloud Oracle Hosting and Application systems. Also function as a primary technical liaison across all teams, vendors and partners to design technical solutions.

Role
 

• Develop and maintain processes and services designed to maintain ongoing alignment with overall customer goals and strategies.
• Guide and support overall program innovation and technology to meet client requirements and strategic roadmap.
• Create and establish enterprise technology and architectural standards, roadmaps to support strategic IT direction using emerging technologies.
• Coordinate and integrate applications, infrastructure, data and processes to support improvements.
• Analyze impact of changes on overall program and provide guidance and solutions in case of any challenges.
• Support Project Managers across program with creation, execution and review of the project and make sure schedules are met.
• Guide and support teams on Troubleshooting calls and help with identifying root cause and address production issues quickly and effectively.
• Conducts system design activities and reviews detailed application module specifications, classes, objects, methods, and other software components.
• Scrutinizes change requests to determine the magnitude of work done and estimates the level of effort.
• Ensures architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
• Reviews existing system architecture and recommends improvements and participates in engineering reviews to determine any ambiguities.

• 10+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions Engineer and/or Architect.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training and work experience.
• Oracle Enterprise Performance Management, Hyperion and OBIEE is mandatory.
• Experience of modern Agile development, database, and automation techniques. Experience with upgrades, system migrations, and Production support tied to a SLA and other requirements.
• Governance experience (working closely with the solution delivery teams to ensure adherence to the design). Experience with resolving design/architecture related performance issues.
• Experience reviewing requirements to create a solution design based on target state technology blueprint.
