Job Summary of the Human Resources Manager: The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for helping to create the HR Department. Daily responsibilities for recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:
- Recruitment and Hiring: Managing job postings, interviewing candidates, and making hiring decisions.
- Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, managing performance, and overseeing disciplinary actions.
- Benefits Administration: Managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Training and Development: Developing and implementing training programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.
- Payroll and Compensation: Managing payroll processing, salary adjustments, and other compensation-related tasks.
- Employee Records: Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
- HS & College Career Fairs and recruiting.
Education & Experience of the Human Resources Manager:
- HS Diploma or GED is required. Associates' or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 + years Human Resources experience, particularly in areas of recruitment, employee relations, and benefits.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills are required.
- Experience starting up an HR department is desired.
