Genius Talent has partnered with a leading manufacturing company looking for a qualified professional to join their Human Resources team as a Human Resources Generalist.  The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a broad range of responsibilities to ensure that the needs of the business are aligned appropriately with overall company goals.  The HR Generalist administers day-to-day tasks by providing guidance, counseling, and direction on HR policies, processes, and programs to both managers and employees.  The HR Generalist is also responsible for assisting with Recruiting, Training, New Employee Orientation, On-boarding, Workers’ Compensation, Safety and OSHA Recordkeeping. Ensures compliance in all facets of Human Resources.

Essential Functions:
Execute HR goals, objectives, and initiatives at a local level.
Provides guidance to management to ensure the company is in compliance with all policies andprocedures.
Support all HR operational needs, and professionals in all employee life cycles in the organization, from recruiting needs to termination.
Monitor and maintain the HRIS system processes such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, position changes, payroll, and termination.
Assist with the execution and completion of annual Open Enrollment.
Responsible for Vendor Credentialing.
Reviews/maintains personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Maintains current knowledge of all benefit/insurance programs and has the ability to answer general questions about the plans and policies.
Ensures information is reported to Main Office Human Resources within established guidelines.
Ensures employees are paid accurately and timely in accordance with company policy andfederal/state/local regulations.
Communicates company policies and procedures to employees and serves as a primary source forinformation pertaining to company policy and human resources procedures.
Gathers separation information for response to state unemployment claims and represents theCompany during unemployment hearings.
Responsible for OSHA Compliance and Recordkeeping to include injury reporting and claimsmanagement.
Prepares appropriate paperwork to meet statutory and department requirements upon employeetermination.
Responsible for leave management to include Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Short Term Disability(STD), and compliance with the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Conducts investigations of employee complaints and employee relations issues.
Conducts company-wide training for employees at all levels as needed.
Coordinates special events such as employee appreciation and engagement activities.
Assist Managers to carry out HR initiatives such as performance reviews, employee engagementsurveys, development reviews, merit increases etc.
Develop positive employee relations environment.
Collection and analysis of data needed to create reports as needed for internal and external leadership.
Work closely with HR leadership to drive various HR Processes.
Composes internal and external correspondence as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related degree.
Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or Certified SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
