Plans, develops, implements, and administers HR processes and programs that increase productivity, competence, and effectiveness of the location employees.
Participates in corporate processes targeted at these objectives, including Lean manufacturing events, safety processes, employee engagement survey and One Team One Goal initiatives.
Consults with business and/or functional leaders in areas of organizational assessment, succession planning, organizational structure, staff recruiting and development, workforce planning and change management to strengthen organizational capability.
Aligns and supports HR processes (i.e. talent management, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and recruiting).
Leads employee relations processes with a strong focus and action on positive employee relations. Counsels/coaches employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitates formal/informal complaints to resolution, discipline and/or terminations consistent with local culture, business and legal environments.
Monitors local and regional compensation trends and interacts with corporate resources to ensure we remain competitive in our efforts to attract and retain the talent necessary to successfully operate the business.
Assists in the assessment of training needs as well as development, coordination and delivery of training for facility personnel within the scope of an overall training direction.

Requirements
A Bachelor Degree in Business is desired. An MBA is a plus.
5+ years of HR Generalist experience.
Any industry with an aptitude to learn.
Demonstrated experience in dealing with E.E.O.C., OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, O.F.C.C.P., and related regulatory groups
Experience in maintaining union-free status.
Ability to influence people in the opinions, attitude or judgments; to generalize, evaluate and make decisions in stressful situations.
Requires ability to work independently under general guidelines and supervision.
Ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities.
Knowledge and application of current HR trends, best practices and compliance issues.
