Responsibilities

  • Partners with managers and employees at various levels to provide human resources support and solutions.
  • Works in conjunction with senior human resources business partner of business group.
  • Partners with central recruiting team to guide selection process with assigned areas.
  • Consults managers as they handle performance issues and talent development needs.
  • Supports HR leadership team with research, project support, reporting/analytics, and champion HR initiatives.
  • Provides HR orientation and facilitates other HR training sessions as needed.
  • Delegates tasks to others and oversee performance of HR support team.

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor Degree in Business is required.
  • 2+ years relevant HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, and employee relations.
  • Experience in an Industrial setting…Manufacturing, Distribution, etc.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, AAP, performance management practices, and employee relations practices.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS).
  • Knowledge and application of current HR trends, best practices and compliance issues.
