They are seeking a HR Workday, Sr. Lead to add to their growing team. This is a direct hire position, based in Washington DC, which offers growth opportunities and exceptional benefits.

 

Our client has cast a vision for 2030 which involves mobilizing partnerships to scale their work of rescue and rehabilitation, expanding their global footprint, and leveraging data to effectively prove to the world that their model can end slavery. To support this initiative, our client must rapidly grow their team.

 

Position Summary

This position is based at our customers Headquarters in the Washington, DC area and reports directly to the Director, Global HR Operations.

 

The HR Workday, Sr. Lead will be responsible for representing Global People Support in all Workday Global roll-out project meetings and serving on the project’s Core Team with HR’s perspective and needs. It will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of all tasks assigned to GPS related to the Global Workday Roll-out as well as collaborating with HR Functional Area Owners and other members of the project team to ensure the global roll-out best serves the organization. It will work to synthesize input from the implementing partner, Regional HR Business Partners and Functional Area Leads and present clear guidance and feedback to project leadership on behalf of GPS.

 

Responsibilities

· Workday Project Deliverables: Ensure that the Workday project deliverables for the HR team are completed on time including business process flows, data definitions, governance models, project status updates and other relevant resources.

· Change Management: Work alongside the project team to ensure an effective change management process across the globe for Workday roll out, specifically related to HR.

· Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an expert in briefing key stakeholders and represent the project on all HR matters. Serve as the liaison between the project team and end users, effectively communicating the necessary information and updates to both parties, contextualizing information as needed. Master the relevant business processes and ensure they effectively meet the organization’s needs.

· Project Management: Clearly document the project status, processes, challenges, system performance and sustainment plan to effectively communicate with project related stakeholders.

· GPS Business Readiness: Ensure the timely completion of necessary projects that prepare HR for the Workday Roll-out project. This includes finalizing governance and organizational structure models, developing and editing relevant global policies, cleaning data and various other tasks.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

· Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Human Resources Operations;

• Experience with HR Business Process development;

• Extensive experience with HRIS roll-outs or maintenance, preferably Workday;

• Experience with global project management for global projects, preferably related to HR;

• Experience implementing IT systems, preferably HRIS;

• International experience preferred;

• Proven ability to work with a diverse team of experts and specialists; and

• Proven strategic thinker with experience in program management, project management and product development.
