Home Health Aide

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Home Health Aide who has successfully completed a training program approved by the California State Department of Health Services. The Home Health Aide resumes responsibility and the delivery of quality patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Provides personal care to the patient such as: taking vital signs, bathing the patient, back rubs, oral hygiene, changing bed linen, and may assist with dressing and feeding patient
• Plans and prepares meals according to the plan of care
• Observes and reports any changes in patients condition to the RN
• Must have the understanding of working with terminally ill patients and their families/caretakers 
• Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures and Standard Precautions

• Home Health Aide Certification
