Job Description:

Responsibilities include first tier support, system monitoring, assisting users with IT related problems / issues, submitting EARRS requests, and troubleshooting skills. Should be able to think outside the box to figure out ways to assist those who need help. Patience is a must! Must have a TS/SCI Full Scope Poly Clearance. This position is located in the Herndon area.  

  

Required Skills:   

  • Tier 1 support experience  
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Self-starter, being able to work independently  
  • Patience especially with our more challenged users  
  • Ability to learn new things and expand out of your area of expertise  
  • Ability to be friendly and courteous on the outside to co-workers as well as the community you support even when you don’t feel so friendly on the inside   

Desired Skills:   

  • Windows troubleshooting experience  
  • ESMT knowledge (ticketing system)  
  • EARRS experience  
  • Ability to learn IT business systems and work with others as they try need help using their systems  
  • DTO experience is a plus!  
  • Willingness to write SOPs
