GIS Technician
We are looking for GIS Technicians who have an aptitude or experience in this domain to supplement our growing team. Technicians need to be adaptive within a team environment and dealing with multiple projects and tight deadlines.
Maintain a national navigational database of vector marine charts to construct, maintain and distribute National Ocean Service (NOS) nautical products and services to the marine public.
Compile charting databases and develop chart products using ArcGIS Marine Solution.
Select, compile, exchange, store, catalog, abstract, index, interpret, evaluate and disseminate cartographic and technical information and data.
Prior work experience and relevant software experience are desirable.
Successful candidates must be self-motivated, organized and quick learners who excel in a multifaceted work environment.
