Job Description
We are immediately hiring temporary general concrete laborer and concrete finisher. We take pride in our work and are looking for team members who do the same. We are looking for drug-free, dedicated, quality-driven, individuals to become skilled concrete workers:
General Concrete Laborer : •
Compensation:$18 to $20 an hour. Pay daily cash afterwork,
Responsibilities:
- Lift, load, unload and move materials, drive stakes, place and set concrete forms, work in the excavation, forming, placement and finishing of concrete.
- Mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixers.
- May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials.
- Other duties assigned.
Requirements: •
- Preferred 1 year of construction experience
- Have your own basic hand tools and pouches
- Moving at an efficient pace is a requirement, understanding that it is very important to keep the workflow going and that quality is expected
- Must be self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Construction experience in large retail settings preferred, not required.
- General knowledge of the standard practices, methods, tools and materials of the general building construction trades.
- High standard of integrity and professionalism
- Must have a drivers license
Concrete Carpenter & Finisher
Compensation: $25 to $35 an hour. Pay daily cash afterwork,
Responsibilities:

- Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them.
- Spread, level and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
- Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointer, and straightedge.
- Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute to direct concrete driver.
- Assist construction/paving crew with various duties such as shoveling and raking, running wheelbarrow, safely dumping trucks.
- Lifts, carries and holds material, tools and supplies.
Requirements: •
- Preferred 3+ years of finishing experience with proof of work
- Must be self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Be hardworking
- Be on time
- Being a team player with a good attitude is a must
- Be able to communicate to each other and work well together.
- Be punctual, dependable, and professional especially on our work sites. No yelling, shirts tucked in, and willing to take our time to do an excellent job.
- Must have ability to get to scheduled job site.
- Must be reliable.
