Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fundraising and Community Engagement Manager to join our team. The Fundraising and Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, building relationships with donors, and engaging with the community to advance our mission. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in fundraising, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan that includes major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and grant funding.
  • Build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community leaders to promote [Company Name] and its mission.
  • Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to raise awareness and funds for the organization.
  • Write grant proposals and manage the grant application process.
  • Create and manage donor communications and recognition programs.
  • Oversee donor database management and gift processing.
  • Collaborate with staff, board members, and volunteers to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Work with program staff to ensure that fundraising efforts align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising progress and performance metrics to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
  • Manage a team of fundraising and development staff, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in fundraising and development, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grant writing, and special events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear and compelling grant proposals and donor communications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, board members, and volunteers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing donor databases and gift processing systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
