The Front End Web Development Lead is responsible for taking the knowledge and experience they have and applying it to things they have never done before. They build new products, experiences and push themselves to be solution finders. 

A CourtAvenue Front End Web Development Lead collaborates with a creative team in order to take their creative concepts into fully functional and high performing web applications utilizing standards compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, they have understanding and experience with CSS frameworks, JavaScript libraries and frameworks and aren’t afraid to learn new ones.

Requirements

  • 4+ years writing and launching front end code including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • At least a familiarity with if not production experience with a JavaScript framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js
  • Experience with and can use git and git workflows
  • Experience building API integrations
  • Experience building animations, scrolljacking and other complex custom webpages
  • Experience working with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable development requirements
  • Familiarity with code organization and tooling, including linting, bundling and testing tools


Since this is a lead role, the expectation would be to be both hands on while scaling and building a web development team. This includes leading partner developers to write code to a high standard. This person would be responsible for mentoring and providing feedback to more jr developers with an eye on improving our overall quality and efficiency.

This position requires someone who can manage themselves, speak up when there are issues or problems and takes ownership not only of their own work, but has a vested interest in the overall success of the project. Being more communicative, more proactive and more solution oriented is a must for this position.
