Tech USA is looking for several field welders in the Knoxville area. This job does involve working from heights, new building are usually 2-4 stories. We can erect two stories high with no decking below (about 25 feet). However, we are adding a few floors to an existing hospital now that was 4 stories already. On the edge of that building to the ground is probably around 80’, but in the center its only 25. There are several other duties applicants will be responsible on site besides just welding. This is a 6 month to hire contract position . Looking for welders who are able to Fluxcore, mig, stick weld, iron working is not required but is definitely a plus. Pay range is dependent upon experience and weld test.
