Our latest Locum Tenens assignment in San Diego This is an exciting innovative Men's Health clinic for E.D. and is looking for a physician for part time hours. Client will train physician and all procedures are non-invasive. NO experience needed.

You will receive

· hourly compensation

· malpractice coverage at 1mil/3mil

Duration

Hours

Tuesdays from 9a-5p (can be flexible on days)

Patient volume

· 3-4 patients per hour

· 100% Adult-All Male patients 50's and older

· Scheduled and Walk-Ins

· No calls and all non invasive procedure

· Complete support staff for patient processing and training, no experience require

Job Responsibilities

• Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients.
• Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic and therapeutic tests concerning the needs of the patient, and follow up on a regular basis to ensure their needs are being adequately met.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients.
• Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role.
• Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions.
• Facilitate the staff and the patient as well as the family decision-making process by providing educational tools for self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.
