Your position will be to cover multiple areas of civil law including Family, Personal Injury, Toxic Mold, and Probate issues. You will have to handle a case load of at lease 30 cases at once. You must be able to draft petitions, discovery, and all other motions associated with these types of cases.
You will need to be able to meet time limits and deadlines. All aspects of your cases will be your responsibility, so time management will be important. We have a strict M-F/9-5 policy. You might also be required to cover for another attorney in the office when someone is double booked or unavailable. We try and maintain all of our attorneys as Texas Bar College members so we can stay up to date on all the new laws and procedures that are constantly changing.
The more experience you have will open negotiations regarding salary for the position.
