Community Engagement Specialist

Rainbow Universe Pageants is a unique and innovative inner beauty pageant system. We are unique in the sense that we coach and train our pageant contestants to be prepared for the pageants they compete in through pre-pageant workshops.  We teach them how to improve their self-esteem and confidence. We are expanding and we are looking for passionate and motivational individuals to present our program to middle/high schools in the Valley, Los Angeles, Ventura County, Orange County, San Diego County and other parts of Southern California. We are looking for contestants ages 13-24 to compete in our upcoming year round pageant productions and we need you (a superhero) to get them signed up and registered and ready to compete. If you have a passion to help youth, are looking to volunteer (we call our volunteers superheroes) your time for a great cause and are available during school hours to present our program at assemblies and other youth program facilities, then we want you on our team.

Requirements & Duties:
 

• High School Diploma, GED, or College Education needed (will accept any college students)
• A passion for all youth from all walks of life ages 13-24
• Presentation skills – PowerPoint experience a plus, but can present without it
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to travel to different schools and youth organizations in your area or out of your area if interested
• Willing to make phone calls to schools and other youth organizations to make appointments for presentations
• Open to training and guidance
• Outgoing, energetic, servant attitude
• Passion for the pageant industry a plus
• Willing to pass out flyers at malls, and anywhere that youth frequent
• Computer, internet and social media savvy

We provide benefits and perks for our superheroes.  We have leader board contest campaigns, offer gift cards, etc. to thank our superheroes for their hard work.  We also have a Brainy Pals membership that all of our superheroes can get connected to.  You can stay connected to other programs and events and opportunities at our organization.  This position may start out virtually working at home and then you will be invited to our headquarters to work in person with the rest of the team.
