This is an overnight operation, 3rd shift from 10pm to 7:30am required.
Talgo Inc is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanic to join the team in Seattle, WA.
Electro-Mechanic Major Job duties and responsibilities, but no limited to:
- Install, assemble, rebuild, and remove components
- Interpret blue prints and follow procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools and other industrial equipment
- Support team during testing and acceptance of work performed
- Controls and reports parts usage to Supervisor/Manager
- Maintains all tools needed for maintenance and repair
- Communicates equipment replacements and repairs needed to Supervisor
- Follows all industry safety standards and practices required by OSHA, Talgo and its customers
- Complete work orders under the established deadline and time frame
- Clean and maintain shop and all work areas
- Participates in training sessions provided by Talgo and its customers
Electro-Mechanic requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required, Technical certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experiences as an industrial mechanic, industrial electrician; or similar field.
- Hands on experience in:
- Electrical assembly and troubleshooting
- Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
- Schematics and blue print interpretation
- Must be willing and able to travel, with short-notice, to offsite locations for troubleshooting (may require out-of-state travel)
- Must hold a valid US passport, and be eligible for access into Canada
Electro-Mechanic other requirements:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines
- Works well under pressure
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Ability to function as a team member, and adapt when independent work is required
- Demonstrate initiative, leadership, and analytical skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check including, MVR records
