Talgo Inc is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the team in Milwaukee, WI.
Position Summary
Support Electrical Work Orders on rolling stock projects.
Electrician Main Duties, but not limited to:
- Support Electrical Bench work such as assembly of wiring harness, assembly of kitted materials, etc.
- Support Electrical Facility Preventative Maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate Electrical Supervisor and with Warehouse and Supply to stage the materials for required for daily production tasks.
- Support the installation of the various support electrical power supplies and testing equipment.
- Must have the ability to read detailed work instructions, technical drawings, electrical schematics and follow technical procedures
- Promote job safety and awareness.
- Manage the tools assigned to each individual and ensure all tools, equipment, etc. are kept in good working order.
Electrician Required Skills/Qualification:
- Vocation Training, Associates' degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Engineering preferred
- Trade electrician certification, preferably electrical manufacturing or maintenance field
- 2 - 5 years of experience of complex electrical system installation
- 2 - 5 years of experience with technical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge in various electrical equipment including but not limited to: (Multi- meter, Oscilloscope, Megger, etc.)
- Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office products
- Experience utilizing SAP a plus
- Experience in transportation, manufacturing or maintenance fields preferred
Electrician Other Requirements:
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Ability to function as a team member, and adapt when independent work is required
- Demonstrate initiative, leadership, and analytical skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check including MVR records
