Responsibilities:
This position is located at the Highland, IL Corporate Office.  Candidates must have a BSEE with 2 or more years of electrical system design experience.  Experience with power bridges, large transformers, three phase power, HMIs, and PLCs is a plus.  We are looking for candidates that are interested in designing excitation systems.   Excitation systems engineers design standalone excitation systems that include generator protection and synchronizing schemes. An excitation system regulates the voltage, protects, and monitors synchronous generators and motors. Engineers design retro-fit systems in to existing applications, for example power plant upgrades and refurbishments. These systems are designed to be suitable for any application that can be used in conjunction with any manufacture of synchronous generator or motor. Excitation Engineers develop and implement electrical design standards for PLC, protection and excitation systems; ensure compatibility with control, HMI and mechanical disciplines. Also, they create 1-line and 3-line schematics, wire diagrams, transformer specifications and logic files for the digital controllers.

In addition, we manufacture intermediate and class two transformers and plastic components.
