E-Commerce Product Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a talented, motivated, and enthusiastic intern who is interested in working at a fast-growing technology start-up in downtown San Francisco. Our ideal candidate has a passion for learning about ecommerce checkout experience, subscription cancellation flows, and A/B testing. Our interns work side-by-side with experienced Product, Marketing, and Design team members and learn how to build products that help people find jobs. In this position, you will learn about the field of product management and participate in ecommerce projects.
 

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the SCRUM development process. Submit tickets and stories in JIRA, and work with our QA teams to help with testing
• Assist in analytics and tracking for our various ecommerce initiatives. This involves analyzing data from the backend as well as via tools such as Mixpanel, Sisense and Inspectlet
• Help with prioritization of new features as well as the backlog based on data and expected impact
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, marketing managers, Tech, Analytics and BI
• Assist with research around markets, customers and product with the marketing team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university
• Highly motivated, with driving sense of responsibility
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with large cross-functional teams
• Desire to learn and confidence to ask questions when necessary
• Diplomatic yet effective -- clear, respectful, direct communication style
• Ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
• Be legally allowed to work in the US (US citizen, green card, or F1 student visa holder).
• Have the ability to intern in San Francisco, California.
• Have the ability to work for a continuous 12 weeks in the summer (May 20-Aug 9, 2019)
• Have the ability to work 30 hours  (max) per week
