We are seeking to hire a Full Time 1099 Van Driver/Independent Contractor who would like to join our professional team of drivers and transport passengers to and from medical appointments. We are looking for somebody who is interested to work long term and who is available Monday through Saturday.
We provide Non-Emergency Medical Transportation primarily for people with special needs (disabled, elderly, financially disadvantaged, etc.) who travel to and from Minnesota Health Care Facilities. Our company is certified by MN Department of Transportation (MN DOT) and MN Department of Human Services (MN DHS) for the State of Minnesota. We provide rides from 5 AM to 6 PM Monday through Saturday for Medical Assistance, UCare, BlueRide, HealthPartners, UnitedHealthcare recipients, as well as for private pay clients. Our company was established in 1993 and we are currently growing our business. We have drivers-independent contractors who have been working for our company for up to 15 consecutive years.
Lease our wheelchair accessible van, keep it at your home. Download and use our Mobile App with electronic signature capture to get all the trip information including directions turn-by-turn by voice. Begin and finish the work near to your home. Get as many passengers and trips as you can handle. Get paid for each trip and for each mile. Get paid for each passenger when you transport simultaneously multiple passengers in your van. Gross up to $2,900 per week, get paid every week directly in your bank account. Some drivers even reach up to $3,100 gross per week!
It is enough to have a regular Class D driver's license. You must be at least 18 years of age and have at least one year of experience as a licensed driver. This job is perfect for those with previous transportation or delivery experience and those who feel compassion for people with special needs. You have to be a responsible, reliable and motivated person with a fluent English. You must be a safe driver with no accidents and with a clean driving record. You have to be able physically to handle passengers in wheelchairs. No lifting of the passengers in wheelchair is required, only pushing them may be needed.
You will need your own Android mobile phone or iPhone for this job. In addition to your mobile phone, you may use if you like your own 7-8 inch Android tablet with a data plan activated by Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile.
