Drainage Business Practice

We need a seasoned professional Civil Engineer with 15 or more years of experience to lead our Drainage Business Practice.    
 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Practice Lead (BPL) with strong people, managerial, technical, and business development capabilities to lead our Drainage Business Practice throughout our three existing offices in Austin, Round Rock, and San Antonio, Texas. 
 

This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will work together with the Chief Marketing Officer and COO to lead and grow our highly regarded drainage practice. The Drainage BPL will be responsible for the performance and growth of the business practice.   This includes ultimate responsibility for production, staff resource management and development, marketing and business development, and financial management of the practice.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in engineering drainage design and plan production
• 3 to 5 years of experience in people management, project management, and client service
• Texas PE license 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to build relationships with team members

Preferred Qualifications:

• TxDOT experience
• Experience with HEC HMS and HEC RAS and 2D Modeling

• Familiarity with 2d modeling such as SWMM
